Here are a few of the details I want to mention about my college JC Bose UST Faridabad (formerly known as YMCA UST)- Admission Process: Admission was entirely based on the respective JEE MAINS rank of students. First, we have to submit the application form and counselling fees on hstes website. Then there are two online rounds for admission. If you get selected visit k college pay the fees. If you are not selected after two online rounds two more rounds were held offline. You to apply again for University pay the fees and then you can sit into the offline admission procedure. Pros: 1. Best college after NIT KKR in Haryana. 2. Good placement record. (excellent for computer related branches). 3. Workshop is there for core branches to provide practical knowledge throughout the course. Cons: 1. Small campus and infrastructure. 2. Placement record of core branches is just fine. 3. Hostel is given to first year students only due to lesser space.

I'm pursuing Btech electrical engineering from this university. The course structure is quite good you'll get knowledge about core electrical some electronics stuff and learn computer languages and latest technologies. The faculty to student ratio is good. Teachers are also well qualified. Most of them have a doctorate degree. Exams schedule is strictly followed even ki Covid situation we are giving exams as per the regular college schedule. Most of the faculties are good yet there are always some exceptions.

Some companies offer an internship to students. Most of them are software related companies like Amazon, Samsung, adobe, cadence etc. Mostly CE, IT students get good internships here as the companies which provide internships to core students are very less. Some students from core branches also get internships. These students mostly have good programming and coding skills.

Placements are excellent for CE and IT branches. Most of the students get placed from these branches through campus placements. Big companies like Amazon, Samsung, Adobe etc carry out their placement drives. ECE placements are also quite good companies like cadence, STM microelectronics comes here for placements and internships during the 5th and 6th sem. Core branches like Mech and EL don't have a good placement status nowadays some students get placed through campus placements rest of the students prepared for GATE examinations. In fact, the GATE record is quite good for this college. Many students have cracked gate with flying colours.

Fees are quite affordable for most of the students. It's something in between 60k to 65k per year except for the first year which is approximately 75k. Various scholarships are given by the university to worthy and needy students. Many foundations (outside of campus)also provide scholarships.

Every year annual fest ELEMENTS CULMYCA is organised. The annual fest is just fine. You can have some fun. There are various technical and social clubs for students run by students. These clubs carry out activities from time to time. The library is small but you can find all the stuff related to your course there. There is a basketball court. There is also an indoor stadium for badminton and kabaddi. Most classrooms are in good condition. All classrooms have fans, a projector and proper lightning. Some classrooms are also air conditioned.
