Remarks
The college campus is quite attractive, full of greenery. The seniors are quite helpful. Every section has got their co-ordinators to deal with the problems. The clubs, societies provide good skills to learn. The campus is small and the rules for first-year hostel students are quite tight. Admission was through The UPSEE exam but now students will be admitted through JEE Mains. For further knowledge about college, refer to www.kiet.edu.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for the Computer Science and Engineering course.I always wanted to see myself as a software enthusiast. The faculty ratio is ok.40-45 students are in the class . The facilities are quite educated. Some are PHDs and some are still doing..along with other degrees. Exams are quite easy, if u study even 2 hrs daily for academics, u can easily score 90 percent and even more.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college does provide internships. This year I am having an internship in the first year of my college . A 90-hour internship in web development. You won't actually call it an internship but, we will be making a few good projects as well.
Placement Experience
The campus placement starts from 3 year. Depending on your skills,u are placed. This year, almost every student got placed. The highest package was from the IT branch with 26 LPA. I even knew a senior who got 19 LPA in his third year of college. So, opportunities are very much, u just have to make full use of them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fees in the first year are 136000. Later in the second year, it reduces to 112000 in my case. Hostel fees are 85000 per year, with 5000 security money deposited only in the first year. There are many scholarships to avail which come under the UP government and AICTE.
Campus Life
This year, due to pandemic we can't have fun as fest wasn't conducted. But, Fests are quite good overall. For books, we have a central library where u can find every book of your choice and study as late as 3 am in the night without any hindrance. Journals are printed weekly. Sports activities are very common. Every day, you will find students playing on their own or they can collaborate with seniors in the evening. On the college side as well, many sports activities are organized from time to time. There are many clubs and societies, like Innogeeks (tech) , Kiet music club, Kiet movie society , DSC club,etc.
Hostel Facilities
U r provided with a bed, a chair, an almirah and a table. The meals in the college hostel are very good. It's a lot tasty than u will expect. every single day, u have something new in the week . For hostel , u just have to submit the hostel fees and tell the authorities u want to opt for hostel.They, will provide u one.
