Remarks

I choose this college because the JIS school of polytechnic is one of the most popular and good institutes in West Bengal. The reason we prefer this college to other colleges is that the quality of our education here is much better.

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason I chose this course was that I wanted to be a better engineer in the future. Mechanical Engineer is one of the most important places in Mother trade. Our teachers and staff are very helpful.

Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are offered in our college and many types of companies come here to recruit their staff. Among them, there are big companies of our country on this list. Namely Tata Steel, HCL, Blue star, Ashok Leyland etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Campusing is done in our college every year and About 90% of previous year students got jobs. Almost every year big companies come to our college to recruit their staff. the companies are Blue Star, HCL, TATA Steel etc.

Campus Life

The campus of the JIS School of Polytechnic is very beautiful and really good. We have a large library with many types of books. There are many types of the fest in our college. Is one of them Polycon? There are many other kinds of games and activities in our college.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
