I'm Nishant and I'm a student of the 2019-2023 batch of the computer science and engineering department. I got into this college after competing in the WBJEE exam with a rank of 3398. Admission started in July and college will start in the first week of August. All the classroom and library were simply awesome and fully air-conditioned.all the classroom are enough to accommodate approx 50-60 students at a time. There is two types of the canteen are there in the college, one is the college canteen and the other is the labour canteen. There is a separate football ground, a cricket ground. The labs are highly equipped with all the instrument and devices. The teachers here are very helpful and supportive. The share pdf and soft copy of all the notes which will help you in the examination. The course curriculum is very well designed. placement of this college is decent. around 90% of the students get placed. I choose this course because the placement of computer science and engineering is above average. Almost 90 percent of students get placed around a package of 5-6 LPA which is quite decent. The student faculty ratio is decent it is about 1;4. All the teachers and faculty are very helpful and supportive. they provide you pdf and notes of the lectures which will help you in the examination. All the faculty are PhD and well qualified. there were two internals conducted and an end sem. it is not much difficult to score around 8 cgpa if u are a decent student. but they can restrict you from giving internals if u have low attendance.

placement of this college is quite decent. not so good but also not so bad. the placement of cse, it, ece is good but the placement of core branches is not so good. about 90-95 percent of student gets placed in CSE department every year. mainly the company which visit the college is TCS, Wipro, cognizant, Infosys. that are mass recruiters. the highest package offered is 16 LPA and the lowest package offered is 3lpa. the average package of this college is about 4- 5lpa. I plan to get a decent job after completing my degree

fee structure of this college is decent. one sem fee is around 45000 which is not a too big amount. at the time of admission, the fee is around 68000 for the first sem which include one time fee and maintenance charge. the scholarship is provided for the minor category student who belongs to the economically weaker section and financially unstable.

there are two fests conducted at the heritage institute of technology. one is ecclesia and the second one is Daksh. Ecclesia is basically a cultural fest and is known to be one of Kolkata's biggest college fest. There were many celebrities who come to college every year in this fest. We have a huge crowd for two days. the second one is Daksh which is basically a tech fest. Students from different colleges also take part in this fest. the library is the one thing I'm really impressed about. they are fully air-conditioned. You can issue any book from the library and return it after reading it. All type of sports are available there in the college. there are different playgrounds for different sports. there are a lot of clubs there in the college depend upon your intrest.
