Shri Hansraj college is one of the best colleges In all India. It is also one of the best college in Delhi university among all colleges. It is very good for all streams mainly for science. It is situated in the north of Delhi so it is on the north campus of Delhi University. I have no bad things about this prestigious college. As we all know due to covid-19 admissions procedure started late. Our admissions started on 12 October ( I guess). We attached our 12th class mark sheet, income certificate, if u belongs to any category like OBC SC st etc. then u have to submit a category certificate of central level, two photos, 10th class mark sheet for verification of date of birth. First, we have to upload all documents on the du site ( after creating our account at du). Then after some or more hours, our documents verified and after this, we have to submit the fees i.e. 24115 for BSc.Maths(Honours). Before taking admission I have visited many websites like career 360, college Dunia etc.

As I have a loving interest in mathematics and I want to gain more knowledge about mathematics so that I can understand concepts more deeply. So, I have chosen BSc. Maths honours as my course of graduation. The faculty of Hansraj college is very great they all are well qualified and a maximum of them done their MSC. PhD research etc. from prestigious institutes like IIT etc. The way of teaching of professors are fantastic as in the current situation we are doing online classes and still, our professors have given us very interactive, understandable teaching. Basically, they teach the first theory and then they did questions along with this they take all the students to doubt without any irritation or any anger. All professors are a sweet and hard worker. We have semester wise examinations and we give exam 2 times a year. Exam papers are very good and have all type of questions easy medium-difficult. For passing marks, there is no difficulty u can score a very good score by studying regularly.

Hansraj College has internship opportunities. As their many societies situated and they provide many internship opportunities for interested students. And also Hansraj college has its internship cell that provides very good information and an easy way to get placements for interested and hard working students. This internship cell is very active in Hansraj college and many students part of this and they have a very loving and good experience from this. And doing an internship will help to make your resume or CV more attractive and more interesting. As I am from the maths department so I have no more knowledge about this and I'm not interested to get placements and internship works. But interested students can apply for internship cell and you can contact seniors or there are many other options to know info and get selection in this(internship cell).

Placements in Hansraj college is not good for all courses. Placements are provided for few courses like computer science, commerce etc. And for these courses placements are still good, you can get a very good lpa by doing some extra works like some kind of technical work and giving more active participation in college extra curriculum activities. As I am from BSc. Maths honours so I have no idea about in which semester we have eligible for placements. things. Selection of students for placements are also good but competition is also good so you have to do your extra efforts for getting a good opportunity. After my BSc.. maths honours degree I want to do higher studies as I want to attain more understand and deep mathematics knowledge. Zomato, Kotak, airtel,niit etc. companies visited in Hansraj college. The average package for placements are 6-7 lacs, the lowest package is approx. 5-6 lacs and the highest package is 28-30 lacs.

Hansraj College is a prestigious college and it takes very nominal fees i.e. less than 25 thousand almost for all courses. Also, you can apply for inspire scholarship in which you get 80,000 per year and you can get this scholarship by following the process carefully and in mind. Also, the college provides scholarships for needy students you can apply but the condition is you can apply only in one scholarship i.e. inspire,nsp etc. or college scholarships. In college scholarships, you can get a 10% to 100% cut in your fees according to the background and conditions of the students. For my course i.e. BSc. Maths honours fees is 24115 and in this feed examination fees included. The fee is very nominal in respect to the other colleges and if you can offer this fee don't miss this opportunity.

The campus is awesome and very cool but the bad thing is due to covid - 19 we saw campus only in photos or videos shared by our seniors. On our campus, a unique thing exists i.e. L.P.( lovers point) it is very famous in not only Hansraj but also in whole Delhi university. Our maths department has its own website (official and unofficial). The Library of Hansraj college Is one of the best libraries in India you can get any book in the library of Hansraj college. Extra curriculum activities are also very active in Hansraj and those who want to achieve higher goals in sports Hansraj college prove them this opportunity and Hansraj college released a separate cut off list for sports category students and they all get an edge. Many clubs are run by students like gwc (green warriors club) etc. many websites like samikaran etc. Each classroom has at least 2 air conditioner, very good sitting arrangements and many more things. We were able to see all these things through our seniors.
