Through the WBJEE examination central counselling process. After completion of the central counselling process, I have applied in the JIS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. Then I took admission to the college. The overall process was very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I liked Electronics and Communication from the school days. Our college is very good in this department. The qualification and teaching ability of our faculties are very good. The semester exams are always about 6 months gap. It is standard.
Internships Opportunities
BSNL, IOC, AIR like govt ruled companies give internship offers to students here. Different projects like AI based projects, Software related, telecommunication sector related projects are given. After completion of these projects students often gained the experience of how to do a job in the industrial field.
Placement Experience
Hre from 7th semester students is eligible for campusing. Different companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, are visited. Highest package almost 6 lakh. Almost 85% are placed. I want to get a government job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is on average of 45000 per semester. At the time of admission, the total fees structure is given. Different scholarships are available here like SVMCM from WB GOVT and minority scholarships are also available.
Campus Life
The annual fest happened once a year. Books are available in the book bank and library. Sports and cultural events are also very common here. There are different clubs are present here like Science club etc.
