Excellent College

Through direct admission, I got admitted to this college in the year 2017. No, I haven't availed of any quota. Minimum 75% in Science is required to get admission in B.Tech. There wasn't any admission process going.

The course curriculum is quite hard but with the help of the teaching staff, it was quite easy. The student ratio is 120 students as we had 90 boys and 30 girls in our class. The teachers are very well qualified and they explain things very clearly and well. There were 8 term exams with 2 in every year and it was quite difficult to pass.

There are many internship opportunities available in the college. They provide good stipends. There are a lot of internships coming since the 2nd year. They give a lot of projects and increases our knowledge and experience.

Placements are quite good in our college. There are many opportunities. In our year the average salary package is Rs.300000/- per annum with the highest being Rs.1500000/- p.a. Almost 65% of students in our batch have been placed to date. I intend to work hard to get a job in the IT farm through web development.

The total fees are around rs.400000/- in 4 years. First, sem fees are around rs.85000/-. I have not got any scholarship, financial aid and job from the college to date but I am trying my best to do so.

The JIS annual fest is JIS TECH FEST which is held every year in the month of February or March. The library is huge with a vast amount f books and research paper. Classrooms are quite normal. Sports Participation and Extracurricular activities on the campus were quite common and various events and competitions were held.

The hostel was good. The food was good. The hostel registration is done through the direct admission in the college admissions building. The hostel costs around Rs.30000/- for 6 months. I didn't rent a pg.
