The admission to GNIPST, is a very smooth and healthy procedure. Mainly, for Bachelors of Pharmacy, counselling of WBJEE or JEE Mains, for students with qualified marks in Physics and Chemistry, gives the opportunity to be admitted to GNIPST. The smooth procedure, polite behaviour of administrators and easy official works adds to the ease of taking admission here. Till the batch of 2019, GNIPST was affiliated and exams were taken by the affiliating university, MAKAUT. It was a huge success by GNIPSTians to affiliate the college to be the only autonomous Pharmacy college of east India, accredited by MAKAUT. Continuous evaluation procedure and regular assignment enables the students to brush up on the concepts and ideas, learnt during the online (offline before pandemic) classes.

With a well-divided syllabus, as provided by MAKAUT, our college GNIPST, emphasize each and every module of the syllabus specified. This enables the students to prepare for not only the university examination but also the GPAT Entrance examination for the M.Pharm entrance examination. Well-built, easily approachable, polite behavior of respected faculty members, makes the students comfortable to interact with the teachers for any single problems and issues faced. All students are well-guided under the mentorship of designated respected faculty members to resolve every single matter a student's faces. Regular interaction with the Principal madam and HOD madam helps the student to discuss any corner of their problems and resolve them.

GNIPST has a well affordable fee structure, which is well distributed amongst eight semesters. The fees are normally submitted to the office by Demand Draft. Now, in the pandemic, the online system of fee payment has replaced the traditional method. This also reduces the cost of creating a DD and increases the ease of fees payment

A total ragging-free committee and squad is well developed and well actioned by a group of students headed by respected teachers, Principal Madam and Director Sir, to increase the safety of the students on the campus. Students during their offline class enjoyed a beautiful social life where students could join any club or committee (Photography club/ Cultural club / Sports club / Debate and Extempore club, etc). The well-developed inter-student and student-teacher interaction make social life more enjoyable.
