I have written KEAM exam and had good score which gave me options like JEC, Vidya colleges for admission.I choose to study Mechanical Engineering in JEC because my cousin sister was already studying there and the faculties .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I have done in Jyothi Engineering college was B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering under Calicut University. The course curriculum is designed by different well experienced staff from different colleges in India. Over all after the top universities in India or taking care of south Indian universities,the course curriculum of Calicut University is the best and toughest to go through.
Internships Opportunities
No our college does not provide internship.But they support us to do internship in different industries if we have any options to do so.We have done internship in Cochin shipyard with the support of our department and college.
Placement Experience
Our placement cell is handled by well experienced staff who have experience in different industry and was working in placement in Government Engineering colleges. They provide us with different placement opportunities from Indian navy, infosys, wipro, Tata, Volvo etc. These companies offers where starting from 35000 INR per month for freshers in the year 2011.
College Events
We have common events as freshers day, Annual day, College day, Other Kerala cultural festival celebration during Onam, Christmas etc other than these celebrations we have department programs/events every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our College offer different types of scholarship for the students who study well and who are really eligible to study a lot other than the different management scholarships there are also department scholarship which are arranged by alumni etc due to their love and affections towards the college.
Campus Life
There was no comparison of religion,race or gender in our departments or college as my college management give importance to students who wish to learn and earn the graduate degree.
Alumni/Alumna
We have a strong alumni which have get together every year in the campus.Our alumni network is very helpful for the freshers and other to find a good job. They offer any financial help for the alumni members our students at emergency.
Exam Structure
There was internal exams and labs as per schedule by University which was very advantage for us to keep track on our studies without failures.During these exam days our friendship also will be stronger due to combine studies.
Faculty
Management of Jyothi Engineering College have taken special care in recruiting and providing the well experienced best staff to teach us about the course who are well qualified and specialized in their respective subject as required for this course.
