Remarks

I had applied for two more colleges namely CHRIST and Symbiosis but the fees of both the colleges were too high for me. For admission, you have to give an entrance exam of IPU (IPU CET) and on the basis of your AIR, your college will be allotted to you. There is no PI or GD. There are many types of quotas for minority students etc. but I didn't avail any quota. There are no such minimum marks. Your admission depends on your All India Rank in the entrance test. The admission process is too easy as you just have to give an entrance exam and everything will be online.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I can still go to any field after completing my graduation. I mean to say that all fields are still open for me. In my course, there are 120 students which are divided into two sections of 60 each which are further divided into 3 groups of 40 students each. One mentor is allotted to each section and there are approx 6-7 teachers for both the section. The faculty is good, supportive, and always ready to listen to the problems of the students. As every teacher has its own teaching method and they are good. Term exams are likely to happen every month and they are very easy to pass if you have paid attention in the class.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Honestly, there are some internship opportunities provided by societies or clubs. You can apply for any role you want as an intern. They provide internships in many fields such as digital marketing, selling, management, etc. By established companies and start-ups. There are numerous companies and start-ups in which you can get internships. There are both paid and unpaid internships. You can learn and explore various skills of you such as you can make your communication skills better and can develop team spirit etc.

Placement Experience

2

After getting a degree from this college mostly students plan for post-graduation. In the management and commerce field, there is no chance of placements, and in the technical field, there is very little possibility of getting a good placement. After my graduation, I will go for post-graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of my course is Rs. 101800 for the whole year and in my opinion, it is a little bit high but there are different types of financial assistance provided by the college to needed students. If you have a hostel of the college then it will become costlier. The hostel fee is Rs.132000 for 2 seater room but the quality of the hostel justifies it to some extent.

Campus Life

4

Life at the campus is awesome as it is full of greenery and it's spacious too. As I am a first-year student and there is a pandemic going on I have not experienced any fest till now. There is a gym on our campus but that's only for hostelers. There are various sports in the college such as cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, etc. There are two libraries in the college, one for BTech students and the other for management and commerce students. I don't know about the BTech library but the other library is small and there was a shortage of academic books. There are many societies or clubs in the college which are mainly run by students. They conduct various types of activities from time to time and students opportunities to showcase their talents and skills.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are 3 types of rooms (1seater, 2seater, and 4 seaters). In the room, they will give you a pillow and a mattress, internet facility, cleaners are also there to clean your room from time to time, and cool water to drink. In some rooms, AC is also provided but it has additional charges. The meal quality is very good and the menu is decided by the students of the hostel. The menu is also changed from time to time. The registration process for the hostel is not so difficult, you just have to fill a form there and have to submit an advance in order to book your room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
