Remarks

I had applied to various colleges and universities like Delhi University, NMIMS, Symbiosis Pune & Noida, and GGSIPU. I didn't avail any quota as I was a General category candidate. To get yourself enrolled in this institution, you have to clear IPU CET, which is a common entrance-based exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. As per rank, you are allotted the college and the shift. My rank was 1420, and I was allotted JIMS, Kalkaji morning shift. Once I was allotted this college, I had to visit the college for document submission and then our orientation was scheduled.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because profession I wanted to pursue, I want to become a professional in the field of management. There are a total of 240 students in the Undergraduate Programme. There are 60 students in my class. The faculty is well trained and very cooperative. They are well specialized in their respective subjects. Their teaching methods are equally good. The examinations are scheduled on time and are very well conducted. The examination was set up by the university only.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Companies that offer internships are CollegeDunia, BuziBrains, Ifortis, Campus2Corporate, Skillarena, etc. Positions offered are Marketing and sales executive, Marketing and sales intern, HR Coordinator, Graphic Designer, etc. I was working as an ONLINE HR Coordinator in my first year. Currently, I am also working as a Corporate Ambassador for the IFortis company. The perks which I received from one of my internships were certification and a Letter of Recommendation. Stipend-based internships start when you are in your second year of undergraduate.

Placement Experience

4

From the 5th and 6th Semesters, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, HDFC, Berger, ITC, ICICI, Kotak etc. visit every year for campus placement. Approximately the highest package and average package as per companies are 3.18LPA and 2.14 LPA respectively. The placement of the college is quite decent. You get internship opportunities from the second year itself and while being in the second semester, industrial visits are organized. My plans after getting this degree will be wither to continue further post-graduation or take a working experience for professional outlook and practical exposure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very cost-efficient what I personally believe. There are no hidden fees that are asked later by the institution. I didn't avail of any scholarship myself. The cost of the study is worth enough to pay for the quality education they are providing. There is campus job opportunities provided to the students by the institution in the 3rd Year.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is Anugoonj which is held every year among the colleges of GGSIPU. The college has a well constructed and modernized library with all the types of books required. The college is located at one of the most known places Kalkaji, South Delhi. The ambiance and the crowd of the college are good. The college is not so big but otherwise has all the necessary amenities. The classroom size is also pretty well and proper hygiene is maintained. The college is close to 2 metro stations as well which are Kalkaji Mandir and Nehru Enclave Metro Station. The college is just located opposite Nehru Place market. There are various societies in college like Dance, Theatre, Entrepreneurship cell, NSS and Rotaract club, etc. Every Society runs its own Instagram page to show its performances and activities taking place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
