Remarks
Generally, Admission is from the entrance exam (UPTU). But there is also an option for direct admission for limited seats. Those who want to take direct admission have to do it in starting of the academic as there are limited seats. The cutoff for the CSE branch for B.Tech is the lowest around 6 thousand in UPTU.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would say that teachers are over-dedicated in their teaching. 75% Attendance is mandatory. Although whenever you approach a teacher for doubts they will surely clear it. Any doubts technical or non-technical is cleared by faculties.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly all students who want to apply for internships apply off-campus because companies do not come for on-campus recruitment of internships. Students find internships on platforms like Linkedin, Internshala, etc.
Placement Experience
Placements: It is an important aspect and at KIET placements are way better than any other college. The highest package is of Rs.27 lacs per annum. and an average of 4 lacs per annum. The college placement procedure is very smooth and most students get jobs. Many companies came for hiring and also INDIAN NAVY came on campus for hiring candidates.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for B.TECH's first year are around 1.36 lacs total. UP Government provides a scholarship of a minimum of 50 thousand for those who have an annual income is less than 2 Lakh. Also, there is another scholarship, especially for girls. Hostel and mess fees depend upon the quality of the hostel. It is around 80 thousand annually. Fees for B.Pharma, MCA, MBA, M.Tech, M. Pharm are the same for all first year.
Campus Life
75 % Attendance is mandatory for giving exams. Extra-Curricular Activities: There are endless clubs in the college for people of interest in every field. either it’s Fashion, Dance, Music, Coding, Karate, Football, and the list goes on. Campus: I think it’s the only point where the college lags. the campus size is much smaller than any university. It’s only 18 acres but still, it has everything required.
