As I planned to opt for BCA course so that time I had listed out some colleges like DIT, UPES and Graphic Era so I did a lot of internet surfing to find which is better and I got to know that Graphic is best among them. I visited DIT but there I got to know that BCA course was starting from that year and I made up my mind for the best choice i.e graphic era where bca course has started many years ago and placement opportunities are so good there, one can really grown as a professional there. And if I talk about Graphic Era, they have 2 campuses in dehradun deemed and hill and for hill there was 25% discount for localite students. And even nowadays fees is based on your percentage you have scored in your 12th. The more you have scored the more you will get discounts.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good. You learn almost everything you should learn for getting job like programming languages (eg- C, C++, Java), Web development, DBMS, Cybersecurity, Computer Graphics, Android. Some faculty are good and some are not bad but it is just that you have to put efforts form your side to gain extra knowledge if you want. But overall they teach well and give their best. If you learn seriously you will definitely enhance a knowledge for yourself.
Placement Experience
Placement is the best part of graphic era. Known companies recruit bca students every year. Companies like Deloitte offers 3.8 lpa, capgemini offers 2.5 lpa, infosys offers 2.2 lpa etc and Wipro also hires for their WILP(Work Integrated Learning Program).
Fee Structure And Facilities
In my time fee structure was based on the two categories Uttarakhand and non Uttarakhand students if a student want to get discount on the basis of uttarakhand residence then they can join gehu campus where 25% is off. But now it is also based on the percentage acquired on 12 class if a student has got 95 to 100 percent then most discount they get likewise for other percent carrying students.
Campus Life
At campus, firstly I would like to mention the greenery there, you can enjoy the beauty of green environment in hey campus and for sports there's basketball court and a large playground for football. And there are cafeteria where meals are tasty and also at reasonable prices. The college infrastructure is so awesome. There are an IT labs where everything is used to work properly and if there would be any problem occured, there are lab assistant who can fix it and guide you.
