Remarks
The university is well known for the placements, campus life and have a good rank among top indian colleges. I preferred this college over others as it is near to my home town providing me opportunity to study near my home. One must clear JEE mains and JEE advanced exam to get into IIT roorkee. The campus placements are very good and have a very good average package.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course due to my interest. Faculty members are supportive and good. Provide good scope of learning. Faculty members provide research projects to students who are willing to explore reearch field. They get mentorship from Phd students of the respective departments.
Internships Opportunities
Yes I had opted for the internship, companies visit campus to provide internship opportunities to students. I got an internship offer from a company baed in Mumbai. My role was a project management internship and the stipend was 45000 per month.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are vey good with better CTC. If someone doesn't get the job then one can prepare for the GATE exam and get into PSUs or can opt for higher studies. College also provides the option to convert the btech program to integrated Mtech. Also, a student with good academic score can opt for Phd in same college with stipend of 60000/month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is 1.5 Lakhs/Semester. Financially week students get 100% scholarship on tution fee. Campus placements are good. A lot of companies visit campus and provide ample opportunities to students. Most companies hire from IT background and any student from any branch can apply in those companies.
Campus Life
Life at campus is quite good. It has competitive environment which helps you to grow in every possible way. Campus have different cultural, social and technical groups where students get the opportunity to improve their skills.
Admission
No there was not any group discussion for the test. I attemted JEE mains and JEE advanced exam. I prepared for these exams through coaching institutes in Delhi. Dropped an year after my 12th for the preparation.
