12th marks above 50 percent. GD and personal interview. Counselling for clarity of the course chosen can do good for you. Few submission. Enrollment is done. There was an orientation post-selection explaining how the four years are going to be.
Course Curriculum Overview
The first year there were 5-6 teachers for lectures and 4-5 for laboratory and practical subjects. The faculty is mostly postgraduate and PhD. Within four years that is 2013-17 technology changes happened and from the traditional method to the projector and smart class method were adopted. Unit tests, class test, mid semester exams and final exams with practical assessments.
Internships Opportunities
I was already selected for the Cipla pharmaceutical hence I never gave concern for companies visiting. I did my internship with the project: comparing two drugs on stem cells. I am aware many companies came for internships and students got selected.
Placement Experience
7-8 semesters the companies started showing up. From small startups to big ones' visit the campus. Students I heard and read got 10 lac to 3.5 depending on skills and qualifications for the job. I was in BTech most of the students went for postgraduate.
Fees and Financial Aid
In 2013 it was around 10 lakh, 2.5 lac per year. Many students had scholarships based on their 12th marks, quota, etc. Students were given financial relief as in payment in EMI's and assistance if they were suffering from critical financial crises. I heard some cases. There were no hikes in the fee for my period there.
Campus Life
The campus is grand with a cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court etc and an amphitheatre and auditorium for various events. Dance, debate, singing, poster making etc were regular. It also used to conduct many knowledgeable competitions like debates, GD, quizzes etc. There were many clubs.
