Remarks

Only thing is that the college should have more area and incorporate more sports activities.

Entrance Preview

KEAM, I scored 484 out of a possible 900. I opted this college as it was one of the finest govt colleges in Kerala and it boasts a good faculty and a descent fee structure of Rs 8110 which significantly lower than most of the private colleges and infrastructure is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

We are presently following KTU curriculum and since it is a new university it is tough for some to accept the changes, but they are doing their best for promoting quality education and making better engineers.

Internships Opportunities

No our college does not currently provide internship but there are several student programs for research and projects.

Placement Experience

Like most of the Engg colleges in kerala, they also boast placement from IT sectors,but lacks core company placement.

The college offers a large no techfest as well as cultural fest also, every month the college will host workshops on different topics and every once in a year they have sports events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible and provide many relaxations for students from lower caste as well as those with low annual income.

Like i Said before there are last he no of student facilities which students can avail by applying.

Campus Life

The campus life is colorful and have no chauvinistic atmosphere and grants complete freedom to students irrespective of gender and lots of activities such as robotics club, elections workshops cultural place make it an apt place for higher education.

Hostel Facilities

The college only has a girls hostel and I do not have any knowledge about that,and a hostel for boys is currently under construction, the mess food is not up to the mark and there is not much variety of dishes which we would expect in a college,but since it is located at the heart of the city there are plenty of hotels and good hostels around the college.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The college was established on 1997 and it is still growing so it cannot boast about a strong alumni.

Exam Structure

We have internal exams every 2 months, and finals at the end of every semester.

Faculty

The college faculty mostly consist of IIT aluminis and they are doing their level best for quality education and helping students in every way possible

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

G.E.C. PALAMU : A. Brief Overview .

Actually I applied in Chandigarh University , KIIT , SRM, and Quantum University . I even. Done the formalities of Quantum University but when the result of JCECEB COUNSELING came I took decision to take admission in this college as for now I think my decision is good . This college first of all government aided which provides a way better option than other private colleges which I opted for . Also this college might not compare with the other private colleges which I mentioned in so called renowned facilities but still we can get all basic facilities here . And all the above the fees here is very much affordable as compared to all the colleges which I mentioned in my list . Means all your engineering course will be completed in about 5 lakhs . which is very much less as compared to even NIT and IIT.
