Remarks

In Hazaribag there is only one college for commerce so I took admission in Markham college of commerce in 2017. Admission is given based only on cutoff marks. If you fulfill the cutoff criteria then you get admission easily in this college. The admission process is simple, fill the admission form and submit it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a CA so I took this course. The faculty and students ratio is about 2: 45. Faculties are well-trained teachers with good experience. Exams are taken timely. Internal exams, as well as external exams, are taken.

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission and academy is very low cost. Anyone can afford it easily. Scholarship programs are available for students. Ekalyan scholarship is provided by the state government of Jharkhand. Students get the complete return of fees through ekalyan scholarship.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held every year in our college. The library is full of books and also study rooms are available in the library. Any student can study there. Classrooms are big, neat, and clean. Sports facilities are available in our college, cricket, football and also basketball ground available.

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

Okay, the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is very specific with the subjects that you Learned in this course. I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

• I didn't apply for other colleges and I choose because of the low fees and also because it accept lower attendance and I am doing CA alongwith so I provided me more time to prepare. • Admission process of our college: (i) After 12th we have to register in chancellor portal by filling all the required documents and details. (ii) After that a merit list released by the vbu university for every particular colleges. (iii) If your name comes in the merit list than you are eligible to take admission in the college and you have to go to the college for offline submission of the required documents and after the documents verification done . (iv) After documents verification, again if have to go chancellor portal website and have to choose the major subject we want and have to pay 1760 fees .
