After getting the results of JEE main 2021, I have applied for CET, VSSUT, and IGIT Colleges, then I was selected in CET Bhubaneswar in the civil branch through OJEE counseling. So now I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in the college of engineering and technology Bhubaneswar. I am in the category of general and don't avail any beneficiaries of quota. For admission criteria, the jee main rank was checked also the 12th class performance. I got a 2 lakh rank in jee main and now a B.Tech fresher with age 18. The admission process was good as it was done partially with online mode due to the covid-19 quarry. And another half was done by going to college for necessary requirements.

I chose the Civil engineering course of B. Tech. Because I was interested in stuff like designing and construction part. Nowadays, Architectural aspects are in high demand in and civil engineers will be a major part of it that's why I choose. Required number of faculty are present for all the branches and there is no problem. They are assigned to give us their educational and technical views. Nearly all the faculties are highly qualified and most of them were completed their M. Tech degree from IITs and NITs. Each year there were two semesters and it's not easy to pass. You have to work hard and gain a little bit about every subject in order to obtain good marks in semesters.

A maximum number of companies that offer an internship with stipend are Google, Paytm, Amazon, GitHub, etc. Most internships for software students are maximum based on coding. Project and outcome will be given during internships and you have to compete and get certified for it with a stipend. As I am not much experienced with these things because I am in my first year now and naive about the future aspects.

Students are getting placement by their knowledge, so it varies year by year. Nearly 85% of students getting placements each year from respective branches. My plan after getting a degree is to get placements and to work.

The fee structure is quite good for the maintenance of a middle-class family as it is a government college. The fee structure for my BTech course is 57000. But for self-finance BTech courses it is about 75000. There are many scholarships for students according to their category. E-medhabruti is one of them by which student has given 10000 each year during the 4 years. There is also the advantage of students for a study loan. Each year a lot of companies come for various branches with placements for them.

In CET college, many clubs are running by our respected seniors. Like spectrum club, energy club, cars club, cet Photofactory, civicon club, etc. To enter these clubs, induction programs are organized every year. Many projects like including hardware and software are done in these clubs.
