Internship experience

So yes, as everyone I applied for various colleges across India such as 'Goenka college of Kolkata and Christ University of Bangalore and I successfully got into them but I didn't opt to get admitted because firstly Delhi University has always fascinated me secondly Gargi college is a dream college for everyone in every term say it exposure or the alumni and the placement cells. Gargi has the best placement cells on the south campus also the fee was the bare minimum which any middle class can afford.

There are a total of six semesters and you get four books in total per semester. The exams are basically more logical and twists than theoretical and direct, one can easily pass if they study a month before.

Companies like Wipro, LG, shine project, Jurni offered an Internship opportunity with at least a 400 rs stipend depending on the tasks. The project was generally as social media marketing, as a campus ambassador, like HR.

Yes the students from the first sems themselves become eligible for internship and to work with the placement cells of the college. Several companies have visited our campus like LG, Exide, Infosys with the package of 20lac and 12lac pa. Around 70% of the students who applied for the placements procedure got placed. I got placed in KPMG with an average salary package of 3.6 LPA. Other companies, like EY, ITC, Wipro, etc., visited our campus for placements. Internships opportunities provided here are also very nice. My plans after a degree were to go for MBA and get into an IIM.

The fees are the bare minimum which was 12k per year, they also provide scholarship for students who are financially down. The scholarship is sanctioned through the college website. During admission, the forms are out too. There are placement cells that offer several internship opportunities giving maximum exposure. Companies too visited for campus recruitment but I had different plans so I didn't take up but about 40 Percent of students got it.

In Gargi there is multiple co curricular activities club, the versatility of these social group is fascinating. The most important social group "ggs Gargi" is really amazing, there is dance, debating, singing drama society and also an LGBTQ community society that is doing great work. All of these societies have Instagram page. @whiteroseclub, @gssgargi, @anubhuti. Etc
