Everything About Our College

I applied for other colleges like BITS Pilani and DTU. My first preference was the branch of my choice. I was getting chemical engineering at BITS Pilani as well as DTU but didn't join them due to the reason stated above. No, I didn't avail any quota for admission into my college as I was a general candidate. Our college takes admission via UPSEE. As our college is one of the top colleges under AKTU the student has to secure extremely good marks (350+/600) in the exam to get the rank which can land you into the college. The admission process involves firstly applying for the UPSEE exam, securing a good rank, and then going through the counseling process. After the 4 normal stages (if you get any college during these 4 rounds you are not eligible for the spot round) and 2 spot rounds are completed the student is allotted a college and then the student has to regularly follow the college's website for further instructions related to fee deposition and other things.

I have an interest in Electronics and things related to it that's why I chose my B.Tech in Electronics engineering. The faculty of the student ratio is good as compared to other private colleges. Each branch has only 67 students in all thus making it possible for faculty to pay attention to each and every student easily. Each faculty in our college is highly educated as well as hold degree from reputed institutions. Their teaching method focuses mainly on practical approaches rather than mugging concepts. Throughout my experience, as I have only attended the online classes all the teachers are very friendly, cooperative, and always ready to help. 2 sessions and 1 end sem are conducted as well regularly assignments are given to students so that they don't get off track and stick to the course. Overall exam difficulty remains moderate and all questions are asked from the concepts taught in class.

There are various companies like ITTIAM Solutions, Adobe, TCS, AnsalAPI, L&T, Pie INFOCOMM, Nirvana Solutions, Atventus, edcos0073, Newgen Apps which provide internship opportunities at our college. Stipend and all depends on roles and student's performance thus there is no exact data for it.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placement while after the 4th semester they can start applying for internships. Our college even has a separate society which aids students in this. There are no such official releases for companies visited, a number of offers made and the highest package offered but the placements are decent and companies like TCS and Wipro visit every year. Almost 60% of the students get placed from our college.

The fee structure of our college is very affordable. Whereas other institutes charge lacs of money per semester/year our college's fees are just 74350 including hostel(for IT branch it's 15000 more than 89350) per year. Overall the fees are such that anyone can afford them. Fees hike hasn't been there in college since 2017(as I know). College doesn't provide any extra scholarship to any student but students can surely take benefit from the UP government's policies which provide financial aid in which the entire course fees are reimbursed.

Anubhuti is the name of our annual college fest and Tvaran is our sports fest which is also one of the biggest sports fests held in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from these, there are also various fests that happen after regular intervals of time. Our library is quite huge and has a lot of books. There is never a shortage of books. Classrooms and Labs are well equipped to provide students one of the best experiences to learn new things not only conceptually but practically as well. Sports facilities are available in the college. Our college has a cricket ground with floodlights, 2 basketball courts, 1 tennis court, 2 badminton courts, 2 indoor badminton courts, 4 table tennis tables and high jump arenas. There are many clubs in the college like Literary Council, Hack Club, Startup and Internship Cell, Chess Club, Dance Club, Music Club, and many more.

Rooms are not very well maintained structure wise but facility wise they are well to do. Food is especially very tasty at our college and a lot of variety is served. Food quality is good. During counseling, they give us a form in which we have to fill whether we want the hostel or not.
