The college is excellent one the college management is quite strict and firm on the grounds. They are regularly inspected by higher authority and the Vice-chancellor.

Assam CEE I scored 119 out of 300. It was my dream to be an engineer and I always wanted to take Electronics and Communication branch. At the day of counseling I did not get my choice of branch. I got Information Technology branch. But later on there was a few vacancies and I applied for Electronics and Communication. The director was kind enough to accept my application.

The course duration is of 4 years. It is based on semester system. The evaluation process is Credit system. The subject which has more contact hours has more credit. The course structure is as per AICTE norms. Many workshops are conducted regularly to ensure that the students are up dated with latest technologies and information.There is a criteria of scholarship from the university authority for research purpose. The research are guided by the HOD of respective departments and the all the professors helps the research fellow.

Yes, our college provide internship. Students from 4th semester or later can go for internship. Major companies like Wipro,coca-cola etc and some private IT firm came to offer internship. The stipend is about ₹15000 per month.

Every year companies come for campus placement. The placement was 45℅ last year. Companies like Wipro, Coca-cola, TISCO, ONGC came for the placement offer. The package depends upon the job offered. Wipro offered ₹500000 per annum, Coca-cola offered ₹480000 per annum, TISCO offered ₹550000 per annum and ONGC offered ₹600000 per annum.

Every year there is one Tech-fest, one Youth festival and one welcome freshers party. The events are quite big. Local news channels cover up these events. The events are sponsored by local companies. There is also religious festival celebrated. Saraswati Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, Teacher's Day, Children's Day are also celebrated.

The total fee is ₹22100 and there is a counseling fee of ₹1000. The tuition fee is ₹15000. Library fee is ₹100, library card fee ₹100, Laboratory fee is ₹700, science caution fee is ₹500, miscellaneous fee is ₹3800. The furniture fee and light charge sum up ₹1200. Thus the total fees sums up to ₹23100.

There is fee exemption for poor students after providing legal documents of proof. The research fellow gets monthly scholarship. The Phd persuing students get stipend upon taking classes in the junior classes.

The gender ratio is about 60:40 boys:girls. The campus is a vast area. With a National Higher dividing it into two part. It has a stadium for outdoor games. Also we have a basketball court, volleyball court in every hostel. In the festival there are many competition held.

Thre is hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel room is shared by three students. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate the three students. It has power backup facilities, 24 hour high speed Wi-Fi, bathroom and a common mess. The hostel admission fees is ₹6000 for a year and the mess fee is ₹1200 per month.

The seniors are quite helpful. I had a fear that the seniors will be very rude. But I was delighted that they are very friendly and helpful. They help us in studies and behaves us as friends.

For every subject there are 3 class test and one End-semester examination in every semester. Every subject has one lab-class in a week. The exams are percentile based. The three class tests sum up 50 marks and the End-semester examination is of 100 marks. Then 50℅ of the End-semester examination and the whole of class test is summed up and final grade is calculated.

On a daily newspaper named 'The Assam Tribune' the counseling date was announced. The counseling date was 3-08-2016. On that day I got admitted. The officials who were taking the admission were very helpful and informative. The admission form were given at the admission desk on that date and ₹1000 were to be paid as counseling fee. The students were given preference according to Assam CEE mark and if same mark was scored by multiple students then their PCM percentage were considered as second parameter.

All the faculty members are highly qualified. They are all having P.hd. All the members need to qualify NET(National Eligibility Test) to be a faculty in the college. They are all friendly in nature and very helpful. They are all very passionate about their particular subject. They takes our classes with full interest.
