My over all experience is very good

I applied to many colleges but the reason to join JIS College of Engineering, kalyani is depending upon various things like placement, faculty, over all fees and some other reasons. No I am no availed any quota for admission. For admission, JIS conduct a seperate exam 'CEE AMPAI' and students can also get admission in this college through the rank of WBJEE and JEE Main. Counselling will be happen through online mode. There is also facility for direct admission.

I choose Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) because this branch has a very high opportunity in the future. From ECE students have the opportunity to get a job in hardware as well as in the software industry. In JIS college the faculty members of the ECE department are highly educated if students are facing any problem in their studies teachers are always ready to help. Many faculty of the ECE department have done their PhD and many faculty are also doing their PhD. In offline mode, teachers teach us in blackboard and flipped mode ( smartboard, PPT presentation etc. ) and in online mode teachers teach us in the whiteboard, PPT presentation etc. In the Covid situation, I think only colleges under the JIS group have taken their examination in timely. If you study well and attend all the lectures, you will get good marks in the exam.

Many companies provide internships to mainly ECE students. The teachers also help students to get an internship in various companies. Companies provide many types of projects for the interns and they have to submit the project in time.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible campus placement. many software company and few hardware company come for on-campus placement like TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI etc. The average package of placement is 3.7 lakh to 4 lakh per annum. In this year 2020-2021 almost 77% students are placed from on campus.

I get admission to JIS in 2019. The b.tech fee structure is constant from 2018 which is 408000 for all brach of b.tech students. you can get the opportunity for various types of scholarships from any organization. A lot of software companies and few hardware companies come for on-campus placement.

The main annual fest is JISTECH. All types of books, journals, research papers are available in the library. Many types of facilities you can get in the classroom. In JIS annual sports is happen in January. Many clubs are present in JIS Kalyani like the Photography club, painting club, Engineering modeling club, etc.
