Remarks
25% seat are reserved for the locals and remaining seats are filled by jee-mains qualified students. For locals who comes in 25% reservation quota , there is test conducted by university itself to fill seats and sometimes provide direct admission based on board marks. For jee-mains qualified candidates, there is no exam for them at all, just come with allocation letter, verify your documents that's it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it is highly demanding course, get job in the related field with high package and there are more number of girls in it as compared to other courses in engineering . Faculty : Students = 1:30 Almost all professors are PhD holders and very expert in their respective fields except few. Exams like Internal exam conducted after 15-20 days after the start of any topic, exams are not very tough one can easily score good marks if he rote the class notes just 1 day before exam
Fees and Financial Aid
It takes around 50k fees per year. It contains tution fees, library fees, transportation fees (buses to take you from nearby places or main gate to respective departments), health center fees (but patients are asked to purchase medicine from outside as it does not provide it) etc. There is no scholarship, job or any internship with stipend.
Campus Life
In all even semester, there is always any kind of fest is organised from mostly from non-engineering departments. I competed my BTech from here I enjoyed a lot of non-tech fest. But there is nothing like tech fest. Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, and many more available year and every year in month of October, annual sports day is celebrated. There is many Social groups to learn skills like dancing, painting, photography, videography etc.
