The admission happened on the marks I've obtained in my 12. It took a while for getting admission but eventually, I got the admission. There was a quota system at the time when I got admission like sports quota, then a category one. I've selected this college because it not only helps you in your academics but also it helps you to build your personality. As a student, I always wanted holistic development. If you are looking for this then Hislop college is great for you. It helps you in every aspect. It makes you ready for the industry you want to go to. But it also depends on a student but let me tell you this, the professors always push to go and join the cultural and scientific body of the college. They push you to participate in many other programs and cells of the college. Your life in this clg will always b great.

I've selected the science stream and took biochemistry, chemistry, zoology as the main course. I've completed my graduation in biochemistry. The 3 yr program contains 6 semesters (summer and winter sessions ) . let me tell you it is difficult to pass in bachelors many students got dc and failed. But it all depends on you how you wrote your paper. The faculty of the biochemistry department of my college is very good. They helped us in many ways. They are very much qualified in the there respective subjects. There are max of 40 students in each class.

Companies come here and give a job. But I don't know much about it as I was not interested in taking it. I've done internships from outside the college by joining other organisations etc. Maybe another department gives such an internship.

There is a scholarship if you come into the category. The fees structure of this course and if I talk about the overall department too is very minimal. If you got above 75 % in 12 and above 80% in 10 then they provide you with a scholarship too

There are 3 main bodies of the college. Athena fest (art department ) science society fest (science student ) and another one for the commerce department. Any student from any department can join Athena. Different active cells help students to enhance their skills and from that skills how they can help themselves and the society they live in. Like there is SQAC, environmental cell, and many more. There are clubs for scribblers, actors, painters, etc which comes under the Athena group. Campus life in Hislop college is great.
