Remarks
The admission process is through JEE mains score. You have to appear for the counseling sessions or rounds according to the rank in the JEE main exam. Documents required are the 12th mark sheet, Migration certificate, Character certificate, 10th mark sheet, Domicile certificate, Aadhar card.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members and teachers are all mostly PhDs. Well qualified, The course syllabus is regularly updated on the yearly basis. The examination pattern is - there will be two exams in the semester, one of 20 marks (mid-semester) and one of 80 marks (End semester).
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are not that much good as compared to other private and government institutions. Students have to opt for internships or summer training on their own level. Students have been talking to the authorities regarding this, Hope this will resolve in the next few coming years.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good and actually one of the best in Punjab. packages are not that high as compared to private universities like CU, Chitkara, LPU, etc but as far as government institutes are concerned. GNDU has an average record of 89% placement in the year 2018-19. The highest package last year was 13 LPA and the Average package is 3.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is high for engineering courses but not that high as compared to private institutions and universities. Scholarship and fee concession is provided to economically weaker students and reservation for SC/ST/OBC students. Placement is good and one of the best in Punjab.
Campus Life
The campus is very huge with each and every facility - be it the library, canteens, playgrounds (indoor and outdoor), swimming pools, everything. There are lots of opportunities and social extra co-curricular activities inside the campus. GNDU has one of the biggest university libraries in India and Punjab. University campus stands on 2nd position in national ranking in Cleanliness and most clean university campus.
