Remarks
I applied for many colleges like COEP, VJTI, VIT, CCOEW, PICT, etc. but according to my MHT-CET marks, I got the CCOEW college in the first admission round itself. My admission was done through Open Category. No a special quota. Admission Criteria for B.Tech engineering - 1. Candidates should pass HSC of Maharashtra Board or equivalent examination, secured a minimum of 50% marks in HSC (45% for backward class and candidates with disability). 2. JEE and MHT-CET scores are considered for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as I am interested in the computer field & programming. Total faculty for computer department - 30. Total students in computer department - 240. Faculty-student ratio - 1:8. In each semester, there will be two In-semester exams, a practical exam, and finally the End-semester exam. Generally, In-semester 1 exam is MCQ-based but In-semester 2 and End semester exams are theory-based. The difficulty level of papers is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Companies for internships (branch wise) - Computer Engineering - HP, HCL, Flipkart, IIT Kanpur, Citi Corp, etc. IT Engineering - BARC, Cosmos Solutions, Sin Denim, etc. E&TC Engineering - Siemens, L&T, Bharat Electricals, BSNL, etc. Mechanical Engineering - Cummins India, Maruti Suzuki, Bharat Forge, etc. Instrumentation Engineering - Honeywell, Organic Chemicals, Suzlon India, etc.
Placement Experience
From the Third year (first semester), students can apply for Internships. College provides an internship facility also. In the fourth year, one can apply for college placement. The placement record till now is very good. Students have been placed in companies like Amazon, CISCO, Goldman Sachs, etc. Highest package - 39 LPA, Lowest package - 3 LPA, Average package - 6 to 7 LPA, After college, I am also going to opt for campus placements.

Fee Structure for 2020-21 FY students - College - Open (Maharashtra Student) - 1,80,836 Open OMS - 1,81,336 SC & ST - 3,836 VJNT/SBC/TFWS - 26,923 OBC/EBC/EWS - 1,03,880 PMSSS - 4,336 GOI & J&K - 28,336 Hostel - One can go for private hostels or college hostels as they want. The average fee for the hostel is 90,000. It may vary a bit. Scholarships - Many Govt. scholarships, Freeships, and other scholarships are provided to students like SEBC, EBC, etc.
Campus Life
The campus life is really good. Many fests are conducted throughout the year. Annual Fest - Gandhar (mostly conducted in March), Tech Fest - Innovation (mostly conducted in February), Other events - Glow party, freshers party, freshers week, Dandiya Night, competitions within the college, etc. Library provides a good collection of technical as well as non-technical books. Also, there are many sports activities on campus like football. There are around 20 registered student clubs in the college. About startup, innovation, drama, music, dance, astronomy, coding, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities and mess quality are also good. After completing the admission procedure in college you need to visit the hostel to confirm your admission there. The average rate of a hostel for 1 yr is - 90,000. It may vary from hostel to hostel.
