Remarks

I opted for this college because of the value for money. With a fees if 5.5 lakh for 2 years the package during placements the college offers is satisfying. Apart from that even the faculties are very professional. They all are well qualified and amazing as teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's good but still had room for improvement. The college is located in the business area of the city and is surrounded by many companies. So corporate interaction is very high. However I feel the syllabus still can be improved with an affiliation from a reputed University.

Internships Opportunities

I'm still a first year student. So internship didn't start yet.

Placement Experience

Usually the startups and the local companies come for recruitment. Also companies from other states do recruit as well.

College Events

It was good but again there is room for improvement. The college celebrates all festivals but holidays are very less compared to other colleges. The college also has a cricket team which takes part in competitions and stuffs.

Campus Life

It has all necessary infrastructure. WiFi, library, full AC campus, AV room, auditorium, and an absolute corporate environment is provided. It has all the basic necessities required for proper MBA college.

Admission

It was a pretty easy PI round. There were 2 rounds conducted by 2 faculties, just an interactive session. That's it.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

As I applied at this college first and I got slected so I did not have to apply to other colleges. Here the admission process is very simple. Students having more than 50% in their 10th, 12th and gradution can apply for the course of MBA. Exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT ar accepted here. Students mostly preffer MAT. A good experience

It was absolutely my sister's decision to go to this college. She wanted to be in a perfect business ambience. Therefore United world was apt for her. There is no such bad aspect.
