Yogesh Madhukar Yadav's Review On Dr. J.J. Magdum College Of Engineering - [JJMCOE], Kolhapur

I Given CET examination after HSC & scored 136 Marks. I lived my childhood in Jaysingpur. Dr. JJMCOE is situated in Jaysingpur & is one of the reputed college in our Area. hence i chose this college for my Graduation.

The course structure was good enough for students for getting their Graduation completed. But they should impose on research activities within the college premises. I see some lag there. Students brain gets limited with course studies only. They should think out of the box & go for some research.

I don't think my college provide internship. They may be providing right now. but i am not aware of this.

Placement is really good. College have a separate Training & placement cell. almost 70% students gets campus recruitment calls before completion of their graduation. Companies like TATA, Infosys, Mahindra, KPT, Kirloskar, have MOU's signed with our college.

Lot of events & extra curricular activities taken care by my college. Like University Level competitions. Paper presentations. Fancy Dress competitions, singing, Robocon competitions. Annual sports, Annual gatherings.

Fee structure is reasonable at my college. And economically poor students gets benefits of EBC from University. At my time, our fees were 45000 per year. It was slightly on higher side but i get benefit of EBC.

I am not aware of this scholarship/loan facility offered by my college. at my time, there was no such facility available.

Exams are taken care by university. but there are some internal exams & assignments that students are undertaken prior to University exams. They are quite tough & hence helps students for their preparation in final exams. The scores are counted for Internals. hence students do them very seriously.

The faculty is really good & qualified in the college. I can say most of them are masters in their fields. They encourage doubts from students. For every problem they will have solution.
