Ubsian experience

Well, there was a telephonic GD/PI round for the admission process for UBS, also you should have appeared in any entrance exams before applying. The interview was good, I have also spoken about entrepreneurship for 1 min. The extempore was also the part of the interview. The interviewer was very supportive and friendly.

The reason I chose PGDM because this gives me more room for skills development and increasing the chance of getting good placements also the course is upgraded. All the faculties in college are from corporate, they are experienced in that field so the learning is very effective as we get real experience about corporates. Terms exams are usually done after the end of the term, the checking is quite strict. They expected quality answers over quantity. A minimum term is for 3-4 months. There are 6 terms for 2 years.

Due to Covid, many companies are not providing stipend. But stipend is not everything learning and experience is what all matters. I have appeared for many interviews for the intership even I have got few. But we have to choose one so I chose botree Communication Pvt Ltd Pune for the role of Sales and Marketing Intern.

From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement. The highest package was around 20 lakh around and the average is 8 to 9 lakh. 70% of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree are to get a job at a good post in a reputed company either from campus placement or outside.

The fees according to the course and living standards in Maharashtra is affordable. The scholarship is given to the students who score 85% and above. Also, they provide other scholarship forums where we can get to know various schemes They do send one student as a student representative of college to the University of Bulgaria and all the expenses are bear by the college. I did not do any job on the Campus but I have got internship opportunities from college and I have taken one.

The annual fest of UBS Ios RUSH4RUSH and is usually organized in the month of October. Since last year it couldn't happen because of covid. The Library of UBS is huge with lots of books and magazines. All the classrooms are air-conditioned and the hygiene is maintained. We have projectors in each class for the lectures. There are various events is a college which is organised by students from different clubs, there is sports clubs also and a sports room You can visit RotaractclubUBSB on Instagram or Ex- colearn.

There are two types of room Ac and Non Ac. The charges for both the rooms are different. The food is being prepared by Sodexo caters which is the best among all. The food is very tasty, feels like home. The registration process is very easy for a hostel- you can visit the college and can do the paperwork there, they help you in each and every stage.

Yes, I did face an interview and extempore for the admission process. The other criteria for admission are your entrance exam must be cleared. I took help from google for the interview preps. The question asked was not so difficult they were moderate.
