Remarks

I had applied for Hansraj College, Hindu College, Lady Shri Ram College, Shri Ram College of Commerce. I had availed CW quota. There is a CW quota in DU. A total of 5% of seats are reserved for this quota course-wise and college-wise. All the CW applicants are required to upload Educational Concession Certificate in the enclosed format. Then after that is done, cutoffs are released and if one match with it, and admission procedure is done that includes: Verification of documents, issue of provisional admission slip by the college, and then finally the Admission by the college, it takes around 2–3 days to complete the procedure. That is the procedure of CW quota under DU.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had chosen this course because I'm interested in doing b. Com Hons. The college faculties are best, they have a lot of experience to teach the students. The teaching method is also great. Term exams held on time. There is no delay in it. It is not that much hard to pass the exams because faculties have a great method to teach. And they are also available to solve the doubts.

Internships Opportunities

4

Dainik Bhaskar, Airtel, Oxford University Press, NDTV, Urban claps are some of the prestigious company which provides internship to our college students. Hansraj college also organizes an internship fair in which many companies take part every year.

Placement Experience

4

It is a good college for placement. Many students got their placement through the college. Much reputed company visit in our college for placement. Department of commerce achieve the highest ratr of placement and highest package is 31 lakh and median package is of 7 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our course fee is 54600 for three years. The college has a Student Welfare Committee which conducts annual meetings and provides scholarships to over 100 students based on factors like income, merit, background, etc. Teachers and the management donate money which will be used for scholarships and prize issuing of deserving candidates. Over 50% to 100% fee concession is given.

Campus Life

4

Life at HRC is great. There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society. Many events are organised by societies in college. Classes, library, computer labs are fully A.C. WiFi facilities are really nice. Sports facilities are also good for all students. And environment of college is clean supports Eco-friendly economy. The campus also includes several public meet up areas.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
