Great experience during internship program

I always wanted to study in this college as its known for the best quality of study and it's in a convenient distance from my home too. The admission process is very easy and hassle free. The fees are well divided and no hidden charges are counted for anyone. The fees structure as said during admission time are fixed. The minimum marks which a student need to have in the 12th standard must be above 70% for Admission. The maximum age for joining is 21. As I said earlier the admission process and counselling happens in the same day. Via counselling the direct admission happens and it's not a big problem to get admitted here!

I always had a keen interest in studying mechanics from the +11 level. So I took mechanical engineering and this college provides the best guidance in this line The faculty members' team is huge. The teachers are vastly knowledgeable and they always try to help out the students when they're in need. The student and faculty ratio is like that every student will get proper attention from an experienced faculty. So learning is great here. The teachers adapt various fun and exciting learning curriculum for the fast learning of students and they teach in such a manner that the students don't forget things anytime. Maximum of the teachers are PhD, M.Tech, and are high degree holders. There are basically 2 terminal exams or semesters which always happen on time under the board "MAKAUT". The exams are pretty much simple and the ones who cover up the notes provided by teachers can easily pass the exam without any problem!

Our college provides paid and normal internships both. The Normal internships are for self learning whereas the during the paid internships you'll have to serve the company too. So both the options are available. TECH MAHINDRA and TCS are both companies which provides internships to our college specially for the mechanical department. The internship period is generally around 3-5months. I applied for an internship in our college and TECH MAHINDRA offered me that and I had spent some time in their automobile department and gained some knowledge from there. Certificates and stipends were provided after the completion of the course.

Our college is one of the best in entire west Bengal when it comes to job offerings. Around 70-80% students gets placed every year. The students become eligible for getting job offered after they enter into the 4th year. Based on their scoring of previous semester and their capabilities the job offers are being made. Huge tech giant companies like TECH MAHINDRA, SIMPLEX, SAIL, HONDA, TCS,WIPRO, INFOSYS and many more companies are in a tie up with our college in purpose of getting their employees. So getting placed in any of these companies is not a big issue. Each student gets around 3-4job offerings every year among which they chose what they want. The average package(Yearly based) is around 3-3.lakh and the Highest package is around 7-8lakh. My plan after getting the degree is to join the locomotive industry and make son contribution toward the Indian railways.

The fee structure is fully straight and no hidden charges have been charged from me or my batch mates. Every semester the amount varies from 46-49 thousand INR. Based on the intensity of that particular semester. Our college provides scholarships and other financial help to students who are in need. The eligibility is that their family income must be under 1lakh INR per annum and must provide a very good record of their studies. The students get the scholarships based on their merit and the amount varies for every student. Students get a good job of their desire along with a stipend provided by the college.

The campus life is the best experience here! The college is entirely an Anti-ragging zone due to this everyone is safe from any kind of harassment and can enjoy to their fullest. All the students are being kept in discipline by our college while inside the campus. Every year there are lots and lots of exciting events happen the annual cultural fest is one the best among them. Eminent singers, athletes, politicians, and many more have visited our college as guests during the programme. Tech fest is also there. Tech fest happens during the month of July and the cultural fest happens at the year-end. The library part is one of the biggest parts of the college. It's just like a professional national library. Each and every kind of book are there be it of engineering or vocabulary or comics. Sports events are also celebrated every year. Football, cricket tournaments are organized every year which consists of Boys/Girls tournaments both simultaneously happens. Overall a great experience!
