Internships can change the face of a job!

The admission process is very simple to join our college. It's just a one day process and it's totally hassling free. Our college provides the first admission through counselling and the minimum marks that our college wants is just above 70% in their higher secondary exam. Besides that 10th exam mark sheet is also needed. The maximum age is set to be 21years. As told earlier that the admission process is very simple and happens on basis of JEE MAINS/WBJEE and 12th marks. And direct counselling happens for one day after that the student gets into the college without any problem. It's a completely easy and 1-2hour process.

I wanted to design cars and different types of machinery since my childhood. so the mechanical line can give me such future opportunities. And this college gives the best possible knowledge any college can give. The faculty of our college is huge. Many numbers of teachers are present for the students for their personalized learning experience. Every teacher gives equal attention to all the students so that any student doesn't lag. And that's why our college success ratio is so high. All the professors are immensely educated and they try to educate us by unique methods of teaching. Maximum teachers are PhD and doctorate holders. There's no lack of experience in the faculty. There are 2exams per year. Two semester exams happen on their due date and time. The notes provided by the teachers are more than enough for easily scoring good marks and get through the exams. Passing is not a big issue here!

Our college provides both online and offline internships programs. The online internship is provided via Internshala and offline is provided by the companies attached to our college. Among these companies, the best of them are -TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, MARUTI, SAIL. All these companies make the students eligible and suitable for their companies and they become ready to be a part of these companies. My internship was under TECH MAHINDRA where I learnt about car designing and had knowledge about internal car parts and replacing them also. So it was a very good in hand experience which I think will be very helpful for me and other students in the future while performing the job.

The placement record of our college is the main highlight. Near about 65-75% of students gets placed Every year in multinational companies as well as Indian companies. After the completion of the 3rd year, a student becomes eligible for applying for their job needs. And our college also provides them to companies for job placements. So no issues regarding that. Huge brands like - Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, MindTree, SAIL, and many productive companies are linked up with our college to offer various kinds of job opportunities. The average package which is offered is around 2-3lakh/year and the highest offer is about 6-8lakh/year. The success ratio of this college is very high. Around 70% of students get their job fixed every year through campus. Myself being a mechanical engineer want to join the automobile industry as I have some interest in car designing and motor parts.

Our college takes fees every semester. The fees vary from sem to sem. But it ranges in between 46-49,000 not more than that. No hidden charges are being applied. Which is a good thing. The cost to study is just like Any other engineering college in Kolkata. But the learning experience is great. Our college provides scholarships and every possible financial assistance to students in their need. The students whose family income is below Rs. 1lakh per year are being treated very nicely and either their semester fees are cut off up to 50% or they appeal for scholarships. Every sort of solution is provided by the college. No problems are being faced till now by any students.

Our college has different kinds of fun events every year. Among which are the cultural fest, tech fest, food fest etc. The cultural fest is the biggest and grandest of them all. Where eminent celebrities come and entertain everyone throughout the fest day. Tech fest is also an attraction of our college. Many tech guides and big tech YouTubers comes and participates in tech activities with us to make us understand the concepts better. The cultural fest is being organized at the end of every year whereas the tech fest is organized in the mid year. The library of our college is very big. Consisting of every kind of book and journal regarding engineering, vocabulary, current affairs, comics and much more. The classrooms are huge with every kind of comfort provided to students like ACs and purifiers for a comfortable learning experience for all the students. Sports is the second most important thing in our college. Every year sports events are being celebrated of cricket, football, basketball.
