Amazing college.

Unnecessary strictness on students college should understand that college kids are grown up kids and they are mature enough to know what is good and bad for them.

I gave Common Entrance Test (CET) and my Rank was 2304. I opted for this college because it was one of the best college for Computer Science Engineering.

College has divided the course curriculum pretty well 1st yr was same for all branches. From 3rd sem every branch has their own dedicated subjects we did of assignments and projects on Computer programming. Faculty use to make groups and each group was assigned with a different project we were provided with internet access whole day to complete our research and projects.

No. CITM doesnt provide internship. We had to go out to do a 3 week internship. That was tough. Because we were just students and had no links. College should have helped us.

Placement was one of the best in there top companies came to hire like - Infosys, Sapient, Wipro, TCS, CMC and they all hired minimum 50 - 70 students a written test followed by Group discussion was the normal criteria for hiring. And the last was the Interview.

We used to have annual functions, freshers party, farewell party our college also used to send participant to other colleges for cultural fests there were debates, quiz, and gaming events too sports day was also celebrated and most of the boys of our college participated in all kinds of sports- Hockey, football, volleyball.

It was expensive my friends of other colleges did the same degree in almost half fees. I had to take education loan to pay my fees but I guess that was worth this college has no comparison the teachers and the infrastructure was far better than any other college.

There was no loan scholarship facility during those days i have no clue if they have implemented it now.

It was kind of boring place for all these activities. We used to go out of the college to have fun and parties i have seen equal ratio of boys and girls in the college for all courses. We had fests and fresher parties but those were so much under the rules and regulations that we thought its better to take off than going to the party.

I never stayed in hostel but have heard from my friends that food was just ok quality most of the boys preferred staying as PG outside hostels. For girls, they used to buy their food from outside, as mess seems to make same food every other day cleanliness was a good part hostels were neat and clean. Outsiders were not allowed.

I don't know as I am not in touch with my college alumni any more but I am in touch with most of my college mates and we sometimes meet. But that's not done by the college for alumni network.

It was so much hectic schedule for all of us. We use to have sessionals every month and than labs. We had to make projects every semester Sessionals used to last for a week only but preparations goes for weeks. As soon as we are finished with one sessional other was about to come and than the semester exams every 6th month. which lasts for a month. So there was no free time actually.

Going to the college was difficult during those days as there was no public transport on that road (shooting range) some how I managed to go to the college i met Deepak Sharma (Ass Registrar), after reviewing all my documents and my rank card, he gave me the 4 page long admission form. I filled that form and submitted it along with the College fees + security fees at the Finance counter. They gave me a Receipt for the payment. I came back to Deepak Sharma sir and gave him the receipt and that was all sir asked me to join the college from the next day.

Faculty was amazing. They were all well experienced and experts in their subjects there was a time when we did not like one of the faculty, and even complained about her. And College immediately took action and replaced the Faculty. In my 4 yrs of degree I came across all amazing teachers, all were so good in giving classes in the best way that even the dumbest person of the class always scored well.
