One of the best colleges in Maharashtra.

There are very few things one can complaint about vjti but there are some things need to be improved like infrastructure but overall its one of the best places to study and get socialized here you not only become an engineer but also become a great personality.

MH CET, MH CET SCOTRE:150, VJTI has a great reputation in the state as an engineering college and I was interested in computers and programming so I opted for Vjti over other state college because VJTI has a greater exposure from IT and Computing Sector.

The course curriculum is not very innovative mostly based on memorization with very low scope of research.As the college is an autonomous it has its own curriculum other than other colleges of the Mumbai University. Constant assignments increase load on students but they do sometimes increase our practical knowledge of some concepts.

Yes,In vjti one does get opportunities of Internship generally Internships are available from 3rd year.Companies like Samsung, Airtel, Amazon, Vodafone Intel, Microsoft, etc are some of the companies that came for Internships. The average stipend offered by the companies was about 30,000-50,000. I being 1st year student I'm not sure about the stipend.

VJTI has a very good Placement and package record. last year the highest paackage offered was about 66 lakhs this year it is 53 lakhs but the placement process is not yet completed the average package of the core branches is about 15-18 lakhs. Companies like MIcrosoft, Samsung, amazon are some of the top companies that came for job placements.

VJTI is known for its students and extra curricular activities that's what i heard about this college when i came here. but after coming here i realized it absolutely true. TECHNOVANZA-Technical fest of the college is one of the biggest technical fest in the country. Enthusia-Sports Festival, Pratibimb-Social Activities, E-Cell - Entrepreneurship cell conduct their fests and meets in the month of December.

Fee structure is very much affordable the first year fees is 70k but from 2nd year it reduces to about 30k and for category students its very much less than 70k. I'm a category student and i did not have to pay the tuition fees i paid 28k only various scholarships private and government are available to support the students from weak economical background.

VJTI has a number of scholarships to be offered government as well as private. Government Scholarships are mainly for category and minority students. Companies like TATA, Siemens offer scholarship to economically backward students. Some NGOs also offer scholarships to economically backward students.

Has a number of extra curricular activities like sports debates n quizzes MUNs which organized by the various committees of the college the gender ratio is quite normal students from all parts of the state come here and even from J&K under the Immigrant quota so there is lot of diversity but there is a friendly relationship with all of them discrimination on the basis of caste religion n origin is very rare.

I'm orignially from Mumbai so i needed to opt for hostel but vjti has very few seats for hostel. to be exact 12 for each branch and there are 60 students in each branch. these seats are allotted on the basis of merit based and even on reservation. Unfortunately i was not allotted in Hostel that's why i have to opt in pg accommodation the mess of the hostel is pretty nice as told by the students living in hostel, hostel fees are also affordable total cost of about 52k including mess charges.

Alumnus have a great contact with the students they do a lot of work for the college renovation of the college providing fund for the startups are some of the jobs done by the alumni association the E-Cell is greatly associated with the Alumni association.

VJTI follows Comprehensive Exam system the same system followed by IITs so each an every experiment carries marks and it affects your pointer it follows semester system each sem has 2 in sem test each every exam effects your pointer. attending the practicals is thus very necessary because even attendance in the practical is worth some marks out 5 days of week 4 days we have some or the other practical.

The admission was conducted by DTE Maharashtra.On the basis of CET score Merit ranks were allotted to each and every student.after that option form of college was filled this process was online. After this CAP rounds started I was allotted in the 1st round itself.But there are 4 CAP rounds but later 2 more CAP rounds were introduced.after the final allotment was done we were supposed to go to the college and do the final admission process which included fees payment and documents submission.

The Senior Faculty is very nice and experienced. Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Chemistry and Maths are some of the subject which have some exceptionally nice teachers. Teachers make comprehnsive use of modern technology for teching like PPTs. Some faculty have even started an innovative trend of creating whatsapp group and discussing problems online.
