For getting admit in KNIT Sultanpur, I appeared in UPSEE-2012 . I scored 4410 rank (OBC rank-1149). I was very passionate about Computer Science. Academics and placement in KNIT is very good. So I take admission here. I was admitted in B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) (2012-2016)
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure of college is designed in a well manner. KNIT Sultanpur is an autonomous college so many new things are also being added in the course structure. College has may labs and a good library. But most of the labs are not in good condition. I was in computer science department, I can say honestly I worked on labs computer only 4-5 times.
Internships Opportunities
No, college does not provide any internship. But most of the students get good internship on the name of the college. Many companies also visit in the campus for the internship . For computer Science and Engineering department companies like Net camp, Technophilia visits in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, College has a scholarship facility of 4000 rs. for the top 6 students of every branch per year.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is divided into 2 parts. One is the sessional exam(2 times in a semester). Other is End semester exam (1 time in a semester) Sessional exams are very hectic as these are conducted in continuous 3 days, 2 exams daily . However End semester exams are bit chilled.
Admission
One has to apply for UPSEE. UPSEE-2016 is conducted for admission to all the Technical Institutions / Colleges affiliated to the AKTU, Lucknow. Admissions in some of the courses in the other Universities of U.P. are also done through UPSEE-2016. The form can be submitted online through upsee.nic.in . Examination is conducted every year in March or April by Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow(formerly UPTU).
