CET, common entrance exam held in maharashtra for the admissions for engineering. Few seats are kept reserved for students appeared in IIT entrance exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is as per the university of Pune. Each semester the course has at least six subjects. For the first year all subjects are common to all the branches. Post first year engineering the courses are offered as per specific branch for which the student is admitted.
Internships Opportunities
The college may offer internship programs. These programs were not part of curriculum back in 2012 at the time of passing for the bachelors of engineering courses.
Placement Experience
The company has a complete cell for training and placement. The cell keeps in touch with companies like Accenture cognizant, Infosys. Each student is offered chance as per the company criteria to participate in training and placement. Once selected in one of the company the student cannot re-appear for further placement. This ensures that all candidates get fair chance for appearing in campus placement.
College Events
The college has a range of events. These events are technical as well as cultural. The technical event covers quiz competition, robotics training and robotics competition. Every department can plan and organise the department wise activity. These events are organised by students so that the active participation along with management of the activity both can be learned by the student.
Fees and Financial Aid
Information is not available for the scholarship or the loan programs offered in the campus. Never opted for any of loans or scholarships from campus.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. For all the students one teaching staff is appointed as teacher guardian to look after the performance of students from college. The guardian communicates regarding progress of students to collect management and their families. Many activities are held for quizzes robotics for students improvement. Various seminars are arranged where expert give session on different topics.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities for girls are good. The hostel are well maintained. The in charge of discipline looks after the girls staying in the hostel. Fees for college hostel has to be paid in advance for the complete year. Fees include hostel accommodation and mess facility. The mess good is not great. But campus provide many options in case if any change of food is needed.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is active. Every year one alumni meet is held for the alumnus teachers. The details of alumnus are gathered and all the alumni are informed by email regarding the meeting.
Exam Structure
The exams were regularly held in college. The syllabus was divided in portion monthly. The exams are taken internally on monthly basis so that students can be prepared for the university syllabus. The monthly exams are scheduled for theory as well as for practical lab sessions for all the subjects.
Admission
Post CET, maharashtra state common entrance exam the admission seats are allotted online. With the print of allotted seat for respective branch the application form along with required photocopy of documents has to be submitted to the office of SCOE.
Faculty
The faculty are supportive. Teaching and practical session are regularly in college. The staff is qualified. As per the qualifications and the specialisation in respective subjects the teachers are given the subjects. The theory and practical sessions are allotted to staffs with specialisation in the particular domain. Small activities are held in college to build the ability of students to explore the topics of interest.
