I had applied for many NITs and some private bits and IIIT Hyderabad but want to do computer engineering which was not getting in any of these collages at my marks and I didn't avail any quota. I got admission on the basis of 12th marks and due to the Covid addition process was in online mode so there was no counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
Due to numerous opportunities, I opt for these fields. The student ratio is around 1:17. All the faculity have a minimum degree level and some of them phd grade to after a period of 6 months our end sem exam is held and their difficulty level is easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Big companies like San disk, Paytm and many more provide internships to students for the period of 6 to 8 months and students can apply at the end of the 2nd year or third year. The projects in this help students in their further acknowledgement in future jobs or presentations.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus placement for the 6th semester over 200+ companies visit every year like jp morgan, Oracle, ABC and many more. The highest package is around 43 lakh and the average is 6 to 8 lakh around 90% of students placed. I plan to do my job after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a private institution Thapar has slightly higher fees than other universities it has 25 lakh around all 4-year course all the scholarships provided by the govt are given by the Thapar Institution and one girl child scholarship too.
Campus Life
Saturnaia Thapar annual festival held in the month of September and followed by food fest in the month of October Thapar has a very big library for students. The classrooms are well equipped with high definition projector, AC, sound system it also has a variety of sports complexes like football or volleyball.
