I had applied for nits and some private bits and IIIT Hyderabad but I want to get addmission in any of these collages due to my 12th board exams i avail in this university from my board exams and due to covid period addmission process was held in online mode so there was no counseling
Course Curriculum Overview
due to umpteen opportunities in this field, i choose computer engineering. the faculty-student branch is 1:17. all the faculty members have a minimum degree and some have PhD qualifications too after a period of 6 months, our end sem exams are held and their difficulty level is moderate
Internships Opportunities
big companies like san disk, sap,ABC and many more start their intership at the end of the second year or mid of 3rd year. projects done by the students help them to enhance their ability skills and build their resume for future job preferences
Placement Experience
students are eligible for the campus from the 6th sem onwards over 200+ companies visit thapr every year like amaozn, wipro, infosys,tcs,Accenture and many more highest package goes around 45 lakh and average package is 6 to 8 lakh i prefer to do my job after my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
being a private institution thapar has slightly more fees than other universities it has 25 lakh for 4 years including hostel all the scholarships provided by govt are given including one girl child scholarship.
Campus Life
saturnalia thapar annual fest held in the month of September and food fest in the month of October thapar has a very big library for students thousands of bools and hundreds of cds for student it also has digital classes ac classrooms with good sound systems it also has a very large sports complex like football, volleyball, badminton
