Remarks

College was near my home so it was very convenient to study at Shri Shakti College. No, I didn't avail any quota for admission. The basic admission criteria were I should have completed intermediate with an average pass percentage of 50%. The Counselling day was very nice the information regarding the course was very understandable.

I wanted to study more about the Hospitality industry so I decided to apply for admission at Shri Shakti College the college is affiliated with Osmania University and the course is internationally recognized & Accredited. Faculty have very extensive work experience and are qualified to teach the students minimum qualifications of the faculty members is graduation in BHMCT, any specialization diploma or MBA. Term exams were held as per instructions by Osmania University. Overall I'm satisfied with My graduation study experience.

Class Size: 158Course Fees: INR 49500 per year

There are many Hotels that have collaborated with Shri Shakti College. Hotels like Taj Vivanta, Marriott, Hayatt Palace, cruise lines, and many other hotels have a tie-up with the college. We did complete two projects on Experience with the initial hotel management training & a project on Sustainable Tourism.

Placement Experience

If college is not able to provide us with a job placement due to the pandemic then I'll look for a job opportunity on LinkedIn or through family & friends. Hopefully, all the students in my batch will get job placements. After completing graduation I'm planning to travel all over the world and stay home.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm awaiting a campus interview and hopefully will get a stable job opportunity with the best 5-star Hotel. The Fee was affordable for me and it was as per the market value of the course. I didn't need to apply for a scholarship.

Campus Life

The Library was properly maintained and informative. I enjoyed studying different cuisines around the world and studied further about the front office department in a 5-star hotel and its functions. I was part of the front office committee and my area of interest was the front office it was a good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college timings are from morning 9 Am to 5 pm and if we want we can do gym after completing college our lunch timing are 1 pm to 2 pm before 1pm that is from 9 am to 1pm We will be having practical class and afternoon we will have theory classes that is from 2 to 5 pm there are 3 theory classes per day one class duration is one hour and on saturday will be having half day that is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. no lunch provided in the college on the day and Sunday is a holiday and Saturday will be having casual uniform the teachers or sir will be teaching about practicals are theory classes where they will be clearing her doubts the college should improve in the security because some people will bunk the classes and go out for movie are there room that should be improved in our college

Best college for placement and intership

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college was really very good in last semister all students get atleast one job in hand. Personally i suggest this college for placement. As now I'm in my final year fifth semister I seen most of the companys are coming for the interview. Reputed hotels and retails are coming for the interview like oberoi hotels , Taj hotels , ITC hotels , Marriott hotels , Hilton hotels, The Park hotels , green park hotels and etc. Also reputed retails and QSR are also coming for the interview like Aditya Birla Group, McDonald's, Starbucks, HMS host , puma , bata , KFC And all are offering Management trainee level job and package are also good

Placement Experience:

From 5 semesters onwards students are eligible for campus placements but depending upon their attendance in the college. Marriotts, Oberois, Novotel (Accor group), Taj properties, Airlines (Airport) The average salary offered is 15k-25k 97.5 students get placements in all five-star properties depending upon their given interviews. I personally after getting a degree is to work in the industry itself for couple of years and gain as much experience I can.

Remarks:

Hospitality Career is the best life

I've visited 3 colleges for my admission in BHM, in the first college the practical labs were very small and practicals were not conducted regularly, and in the 2nd college placement was not upto the mark (this I got to know after talking to one of their students), & when I got to know about SSCHM I felt a bit happy after knowing about the practicals and placements, after meeting the faculty for the admission process I was really happy knowing that this college is having 100% training & placement in top 5 star hotels, cruise lines in national and International wise and faculty are very well experienced (Min 10-15 years).
