IIFT is one of the premier b-schools in the country. With an excellent curriculum being administered by those who are authorities in their domain, one can expect a massive transformation in 2years. The placements have also been stellar with the average >20L for several years now. All big brands throng the campus with handsome stipends in summer internship and packages in finals.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is pretty well structured. faculties are the best in their domain with almost all of them having associations with the Central Govt in various advisory bodies. Moreover, all professors are very approachable and always ready to help students.
Internships Opportunities
The summer placements are excellent and has been so right from the start. All major companies throng the campus with coveted roles offering lucrative stipends in summer internship Even in such difficult times, IIFT has managed to maintain an average of 1.66lakhs for 2 months for the 2020-2022 batch which only speaks of its unflinching position in the minds of recruiters. All big brands in like GCPL, Loreal, Dabur, ITC, Bajaj, TATA SKY, TCPL, GPL, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Cipla, GSK, BMW, LDC, Olam etc have been our long time recruiters for both summers and finals. There are always new associations with prominent companies like Grofers, COFCO, Unacademy etc. Coveted IB roles are offered by the best companies like JPMC, Goldman Sachs, HSBC etc. Consulting firms like BOD, EY, Mckinsey, Michael Page also offer attractive roles both in summers and finals.
Placement Experience
The placements are excellent and has been so right from the start. The college has been there for close to 6 decades and has only strengthened its position with time. The average salary has been 20lpa plus for several years now. All major companies throng the campus with coveted roles offering lucrative packages both in summer internship and in the final placements. Even in such difficult times, IIFT has managed to maintain an average of 21.08 LPA for the 2019-2021 batch which only speaks of its unflinching position in the minds of recruiters. Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is at par with all other premier b-schools. When we compare the fee structure with the value that is provided by the college, it seems pretty justified. There are provisions for partial scholarship and Need Based Financial Assistance for economically weak students.
Campus Life
We are yet to be called on campus thanks to the pandemic. However, as per seniors the life at campus is out of the world. people work hard and party harder. However, I cannot offer and first hand review as I am yet to experience campus life at IIFT
Hostel Facilities
Cannot answer. We are yet to be called o campus. Indeed missing out a lot. Hopefully the pandemic would end pretty soon and we will be called back on campus. As of now, the only way to answer the question is basis seniors' account of the great hostel life.
