New and interesting curriculum.Practical knowledge implementation is better. Designing is a career option which is not often selected by engineering students in India , by seeing the curriculum and the experienced faculty I thought it's better to have some thing practical which will be helpful in future.
Course Curriculum Overview
Every faculty has a doctorate in their respective field and term exams were very neatly paced the first two term exams gives us time while the last one was a bit close to end semester.Each faculty has phd scholars under them who will help us so the faculty student ratio is pretty convenient and the passing of exams was easy if you are active enough to classes. but attendance of 85% is mandatory
Internships Opportunities
I opted to do my intern under my guide as my final project was a bit hectic and due to lockdown we couldn't go out.The internships are a bit low for mech students it all comes down to your own interest but the faculty definitely helps you too get something.
Placement Experience
It depend on the course you take , for computers and electronics there are abundant opportunities to prove themselves but for mechanical may be during these testing times the placements are a bit scarce. The percent of students getting placed will be around 50%
Fee Structure And Facilities
For PG the entrance is through gate so HTTA of 12400 will be given every month and it almost covers the whole fees of your stay there. Fee hike depends on mess contractor as they adjust the fees everything else remains fixed
Campus Life
Library is pretty big and it contains all kinds of books but you should be fast enough to get them as they have them in limited numbers. As for as fests and extra curricular activities are concerned the students have their own people as organisers and they take care of fests. The cultural fest is around March and freshers take place early august. Sports availability is very good as the courts are enough for the students present. You can find many clubs coming into light now and easy to contact also
Hostel Facilities
I was in college hostel. The rooms were spacious enough and we get a room per person if you are pursuing PG. cleaning of rooms is our own duty but the corridors and all will be well maintained by them.
