With the score of CAT, I got an interview call from IIM Calcutta and Interview was scheduled on March 8th 2019. Admission process was hassle free and interview was mostly focused on my prior work experience.After all the results of IIMs were out, ROI, Placements, Infrastructure, Faculty were the areas, where I have to focus much. I have referred TIME's website and also spoke to some of the alums and seniors of that respective institutes.
Course Curriculum Overview
A balanced course curriculum with access to a multiple variant of electives during second year is the plus side of IIM C. Industry wide accepted and applauded faculty to student ration is another aspect, where the budding entrepreneurs or MBAs would have more peer and one-one learning. Exams were conducted once every five weeks with quizzes scheduled very frequently and no difficulty should be faced if we are updated with the course details everyday
Placement Experience
5th term is where the students would be available for placements. Consulting , finance, operations, supply chain, marketing etc are the sectors where the placements are offered by various firms. All the students , enrolled for placements would be getting a company of their choice
Fee Structure And Facilities
Needs based and merit based scholarships are available for all the students. Many corporates would like to offer merit based scholarships based on our prior entrance exam scores or university scores and would cover most of our expenses
Campus Life
7 lakes fest is a amalgamation of all business and technical fests and conducted once every year in the months of december and january. Sports infrastructure and inter college sports are the best that can happen in Joka. There are more than quarter number of clubs for students to participate and enhance their skills
