The college is located in an amazing location and is great for Civil engineering point of view. Also the environment provided by the students and faculty is great as well. The institute is facilitated with various campus groups as well where students can join according to interests and have greater exposure than most places
Course Curriculum Overview
Civil engineering is a difficult course if not studied well. Course provided at IIT Roorkee does not only has Civil subjects but does include courses related to general engineering including electrical and mechanical.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements since their 3rd year. The college has a 95% placement record. Big buissnesses and companies arrive at the college such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, etc. Average highest packages are 1 crore overall.
Campus Life
You find like minded people in every corner of the college. There are numerous clubs who's selection processes are merely based on your interests. The college is beautifully built on the banks of river Ganges. Annual fest and tech fest organised annually are interactive, a new way to socialise and learn along while having fun in Thomso and Cognizance. All types of books and journals are usually available at the library. If not pdf versions can be found at the e library of the college.
