My Low percentile (77 percentile) did not allow me to opt for any other college. From the option I had MDI Murshidabad proved to be the best option with the affordable fees. I had to choose between MDI Murshidabad and Great Lakes Noida and IMT Nagpur. Among these 3, Great Lakes Noida has very high fees, IMT Nagpur had very high class strength. MDI Murshidabad had comparatively low fees and small batch strength. Also, the college's growth in past 5 years and the ROI of college along with the inhouse Facilities plus guest faculties from IIMs and IIFTs makes MDI Murshidabad a good college to join.
Course Curriculum Overview
There a plethora of course to choose from in the 4 domains- HR, Operations, Marketing and Finance. Also, the college provides the opportunity to pursue Dual Course. Faculties is also very good both inhouse and guest faculty.
Internships Opportunities
I opted for internship from college itself- jio creative labs from Reliance Industries. The internship gave me a very enriching experience. Also the Big 4 companies come with the Internship opportunities and also with the scope of PPOs. Many Ed tech companies and start-ups also collect students from MDI Murshidabad.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities were really good. Around 90 percent people got college placement amidst Covid situation. The package ranges from 7 lakhs to 12 lakhs per annum. If they are taking the students as a trainee then the package would go down to 5 lakhs per annum for the first year of job.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was around 11 lakhs. Due to Covid some part of fees was also deducted. There is no known scholarship for the fee waiver or for any kind of financial assistance. For the stipend, the companies that come for placement or for internship do provide stipend. And the average package is also good.
Campus Life
The life at MDI Murshidabad was very awesome and active. The mess took care of our foody needs- morning breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner were really very good. We also had a Cafe which had its working time from 3 pm afternoon to 3 am night. There were 10 clubs and committees which used to take care of our social lives.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facilities were really very good. There was 24*7 supply of electricity, water- both warm and cold, drinking water, medical facilities. Wifi facilities was also there which was around 6 GB per day.
