IIT Guwahati is one of the renowned Indian Institute of Technologies over the world. For undergraduate placement is impeccable. Companies visiting here ranges from IT sectors to core sectors. In India offers to Foreign offers. Whereas for Masters people there aren't much opportunity for placement, but this is understandable as Masters degree is all about research.

It costs nearly Rs 1,60000 for two years of MTech course. And all MTech students are eligible for MHRD scholarship of 12,400/month as TA. TAship requires you to work under a supervisor for atleast 8 hours in a week.

There are plenty of things to explore for all kinds of people. Different clubs and societies enrich the culture of the campus. And anyone is free to join ang of these societies depending on their interest and talent. Annual fest amd Tech fest are one of the kind and is widely recognized and visited by students from all of the Eastern India. Sports facilities, and dedicated grounds for different sports are phenomenal. Library is huge with the availability of books, Journals etc.
