Remarks
This college is considered one of the best choices for computer science engineering in all of Kerala. One of my cousins was also passed out from this Institute that's why he recommended me to take admission in this college. The Admission process was online and based on the JEE exam score.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 6 subjects every year and you have to pass in all of them. The curriculum also contains reverse practicals and programming languages. The faculty members were very skilled in teaching and also very supportive of us. There is one faculty member for every 80 students. The span of this course is 4 years including 8 semesters
Placement Experience
Providing placements is a very good aspect of this Institute. Over 130 companies visited this Institute last year and almost 60% students were placed. The placement process was handled by the placement cell. The highest package provided to a student was 36 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compared to the other NITs the fees of this NIT is very low. The annual fees of BTech computer science in this Institute is 80000. the institute also provides scholarships to reserved category students.
Campus Life
Campus life is great and memorable. The campus is equipped with a seminar hall, auditorium, 4 canteens including mess, gym, ground and a huge library. The library contains over 20,000 books for all the courses. Classroom sugar big and equipped with two ACS.
Hostel Facilities
This Institute provides hostel for both genders. There are 2 people accommodation available. The hostel rooms were equipped with all the necessities. The registration process was quite simple you just have to fill a form along with your details. The food was good and the menu changes every day.
