Remarks

I wanted to pursue CS and I was getting it in my college for sure. Although I was getting CS in some eastern states due to poor development in eastern states I chose my college. If you are interested in design as well I will recommend you otherwise not.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had interest in CS. Faculties are not enough but they are knowledgeable in CS. Almost every professors in CS give project in their course, so you will have a lot of projects at the end. Exam is taken 3 times or 2 times per course per semester. Exams are moderate.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 78500 per year

Placement Experience

If you are in CS you will get a lot of placement offers but still very less when compared to an IIT. You will not get much time for your preparation for placement as you will be loaded with lots of assignments and projects

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tution fee 53500, hostel and mess fee 29000, NSP and MCM scholarship can be availed. MCM scholarship on a merit of GPA greater than 8 in each semester. I am currently in final year, I do not have any job as of now.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very good at our college. Samantha is our cultural fest. There are many clubs, you can join any club of your choice. Some clubs are a coding club, music club, dance club etc. Books are not huge in number in the library, you will have to check out it before it's gone

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

I applied to NIT CALICUT NIT SURATKAL, NIT TRICHY. For my trial round i got nit suratkal for EEE. But i shifted it to down and kept iiitdmk up..I chose this as it was the only college with Smart Manufacturing. Course and i was intrested in the way the curriculum was set including Cs,ece,eee Nd mechanical.As my jee score was not great to enter cse courses in nit calicut i got rejected there.
