Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Facilities have a great impact on the academic performances of students, and inadequate facilities translate to poor performance. The study examined the availability and convenience of the facilities that were provided to students with special educational needs in mainstream schools. It ascertained the qualifications of teachers teaching in mainstream public secondary schools. It determined the relationship between the availability of facilities and the academic performance of students with special educational needs, and also compared the academic performance of male and female students with special educational needs. The results showed that essential facilities and materials like hand railings, hearing aids, Braille, instructional materials, and lower toilets were not available, although the few that were available (typewriters, resource rooms, wheelchairs) were in poor condition. The study showed that specialist teachers were inadequate in mainstreamed public schools in Southwest.

Placement Experience

4

About 75% of the students get placed every year. The maximum salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. Our college provides good-level internships. Different roles like sales manager, HR, manager, BDA, etc., are offered to the students. Many recruiting companies visit our college to hire students. It is a good college to apply for an on-campus internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college were nearly 70k per year but after the college over fee increased and 2015 batch has to pay the difference amount of fees to tell by the High court. The facilities are amazing here, and there is Wi-Fi. There is a big library, and the classrooms are neat and clean with air-conditioners. The quality of food served is amazing. There is a pantry inside the campus. Food served in the mess is best. Canteens are amazing, and there are 3 canteens. Even owners are different. The BBA course is quite interesting and practical unlike other traditional courses like engineering, as it gives you industry exposure of how it would be when you go out in the corporate world with your communication and convincing skills, etc. This course is taught well in the college. Some teachers are quite good whereas some teachers would always build your disinterest in a subject. The only problem I found about this college is the placements. Rest this college has everything that a good college.

Campus Life

4

The law was introduced in MAIMS in 2017, and at that time, our classrooms were newly constructed with comfortable benches, air-conditioners, etc. However, in 2020, our entire law department was shifted to another building with non-air-conditioned classrooms, withered benches, and no ventilation. Due to the pandemic, we haven't had to study in those classrooms, but new batches would suffer a lot. Our library was also well-constructed initially, but after the shift, it has been moved to a classroom. The construction is still going on. Our fee increases every year, and yet the services decline continuously. There is no Wi-Fi, and we hardly even get a data network around our college. Overall, the first three years were good, but now everything seems like a formality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
