Remarks

I applied for Guwahati University. And I even got selected but later on I came to know that I've got selected in Assam institute of management also. So for better placement, I did opt for Assam Institute of Management. Due to covid 19 group discussion didn't take place .personal interview was done virtually. The teaching staff of Assam Institute of Management which is located in Panjim boragaon is very nice and full of experience. The way they approach their students is really nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

The student-faculty ratio is 1:10 per class which is interesting and the teaching faculty is highly qualified. Every teaching faculty do have a doctorate degree and all of them are highly experienced. Exams are held timely and it's not that easy to pass we have to really work hard and we have to do lots of assignments for our internals

Internships Opportunities

I've not done any internships yet but I'll do the next internship available as soon as possible. Marico , tribes , sentinal are some of the companies that offer internships to our institute. I will be done any projects or any internships under them so I don't have much knowledge about it.

Placement Experience

Last year highest package was 5.5 or 6 lakhs I don't totally remember and almost all the students gets placements so we can say 100% placement is done in Assam institute of Management . My plan is to start my own business venture after taking the mba degree

Fees and Financial Aid

405000 is the fees for the whole course . We have to pay it on trimester basis we have 6 trimesters and we will have 6 installments in total . Since I m general so I don't apply for any scholarship since we all know general people bareley gets scholarships

Campus Life

Campus is really well built . We have air conditioners and projectors in every room . Books are available in the library without shortage .library is really big . And regarding sports our campus provides indoor sports facilities and we to have outdoor sports events every year .

Interview Experience

Group discussion didn't take place due to Corona virus at our time of admission online classes were taken during that period . We only had personal interview at that time. At first if you're not from the pandemic period written test will be held and then if you get selected gdpi will take place and then selection is done

I love to explore the novels of great writers so i choose the English literature to complete my bachelor degree . The course enhanced the thinking of mine and upgrade the knowledge of literature . I don't think they need a improvement on teaching . But exam timing isn't fine . 9 AM isn't untolarable we can't reached the college too early

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.
