GATE, AIR 556, Percentile 99.6, I opted majorly because of two reasons. The computer science department was renowned for its faculty. The heavenly beautiful campus offers ultimately serene and peaceful atmosphere for studies.

It is divided in four semesters. First two are course related. The last two are project based. It helped me evolve my skills in both independent and team work scenarios. The director of the institute, Dr Gautam Barua insisted on joining research based programs, as he believed that it builds up cognitive thought process.

Yes, depends on the profile. We had all major companies visiting the campus - Microsoft, Google, Oracle etc.

Almost everyone in my batch got placed in good companies. The average salary was 10 lpa. We had all major companies visiting the campus - Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Dell, Cisco, and many startups. They also offered super packages for students with distinctive capabilities.

We had all sorts of events organised. The most important is the yearly cultural festival - Alcheringa, in which people around the world gather to participate in programs that suit their skills. We used to actively volunteer and participate in those events. The annual techincal fest - Techniche is the annual techno-management festival, having events ranging from robotics to corporate modules.

Actually I do not really have the idea about scholarships or loan facility as i do not request for one. But we can contact our alumni if needed.

Well , the ratio was bit skewed as we had less females in our class, but cant blame it on the institute really. But we had students from all states across India. The labs were fully equipped and we could raise request for any additional equipment if needed. We had courts for all sorts of sports.

After GATE result, I applied for admission via forms available at college website. Post that, we had a couple of written and interview exams after which final selection was done. For those, who were in wait list, they were updated if someone dropped out and there was availability.

The faculty is quite experienced and talented. Most of the profs are from best colleges around the world like Harvard, Stanford, or other IITs from our country. They encourage classroom activities and exchange of knowledge through several interactions.
